Virtual Reality (VR) affordances started a new era of storytelling, allowing audiences to immerse themselves (first-hand experience) in recreated environments and narratives. This presentation will explore the innovative use of VR by Ukrainian artists and technologists to document, interpret, and convey the complex narratives of Ukraine's history and its ongoing conflicts. Serving as a virtual witness to pivotal events, these VR projects uniquely merge technology, art, and historical inquiry.
